MCP for ad agencies, ticked accounts

An agency connects platforms once, ticks which client accounts the assistant may reach, and pastes one MCP URL into the assistant. Connecting an MCC is not access. The allowlist is checked server-side, including run_tool. Live sources are 6. There is no X Ads. Microsoft Advertising is soon, with no tools. Agency seats come from the plan cards, not from a made-up number.

Each one opens that assistant with this URL and asks it for a summary.

Key takeaways

  • One URL: https://mcp-review.getmcpads.com/mcp. Live sources: Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Search Console, Google Analytics 4.
  • Ticked-account allowlist is the agency control. MCC or Business Manager OAuth is not enough.
  • Free is 1 ad account, 1 seat, read only. Writes need a paid plan and confirm.
  • Team is Team at 99 per month. Agency is Agency at 199 per month.
  • An agent cannot complete OAuth or tick accounts. Those two steps stay human.
  • There is no X Ads. Microsoft Advertising has no tools. Do not sell either as included.

What does an agency actually connect?Link to this section

One organisation on Get MCP Ads, one hosted URL, many ticked client accounts. Seats are people in that organisation. Accounts are ad accounts, Search Console properties and GA4 properties you tick. Connecting a Google MCC or a Meta Business Manager lists what the token can reach and leaves every account unticked. The assistant never sees a client you did not tick.

  1. Open your MCP client and add a remote MCP server.
  2. Paste https://mcp-review.getmcpads.com/mcp as the server URL and confirm.
  3. Approve the sign-in page. Connecting platforms and ticking accounts still happens on Get MCP Ads, not inside the client.

Live sources: Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Search Console, Google Analytics 4. You do not have to connect all six. A desk that only runs Google and Meta ticks those two. See One MCP URL for six live sources. There is no X Ads. Microsoft Advertising is soon: OAuth exists, tools do not. Do not sell either as included on this URL.

A worked onboarding: connect Google Ads and Meta, tick two clients on this week's brief, paste the URL, ask Monday numbers on those two IDs only. list_accounts should return the ticked set. A prompt that names a third client should be refused. That refusal is what you bought. See What a ticked-account allowlist is.

How should seats and confirms work on a desk?Link to this section

A media buyer can hold a paid seat that can confirm writes. A strategist can stay on a seat that only needs reads. Free is the wrong plan for a desk that pauses campaigns: write tools are absent. Preview then confirm is the write path on paid plans. Campaigns are created paused. Untick a client when the retainer ends; the next call is refused.

Give confirm to the people who already have Ads Manager access, not to a shared seat that reads Monday numbers. Claude may also ask its own approval; that prompt is Claude's, on top of this preview. See Pause a campaign from an assistant. An agent cannot tick accounts and cannot complete platform OAuth. Those two steps stay human.

Do not put two competing clients on one organisation with both ticked and then hope the assistant keeps them straight. Untick is cheaper than a prompt. Split organisations when the books should never share a tool list. Seats share the ticked set inside one organisation.

How does the ticked-account allowlist protect clients?Link to this section

OAuth on an MCC or Business Manager proves who you are, not which client the assistant may see. After connect, every account starts unticked. The check runs server-side on every call, including run_tool. Un-ticking removes access on the next call rather than hiding a row. That is the ownable control for an agency desk.

Search Console properties and GA4 properties are accounts in the same picker. Ticking a Google Ads customer does not tick a GA4 property. Each source has its own allowlist. Official Google Ads MCP's list_accessible_customers returns whatever that auth can see; it is a different server. Official Meta MCP reaches whatever that Meta grant reaches. This gateway's contract is the tick.

If a pitch deck claims an agent can grant account access, that is not this product. Dashboard WebMCP tools, when they appear, are read only and will not grow a tick action. Hand the human the dashboard link and the list of IDs. See account scoping.

What does Agency include on the live cards?Link to this section

Agency plan, from the live cards, not invented: Agency at 199 per month. Extra account and seat prices are on the pricing page when the card lists them. Do not paste a number that is not on that page. Free is read only. Writes need a paid plan and confirm.

30 ad accounts. 15 seats. Unlimited tool calls. Writes, with a preview before every change. Priority support and tool requests. Team is Team at 99 per month: 12 ad accounts, 5 seats. Pro is Pro 39 per month. Free is 1 ad account, 1 seat, 200 tool calls per period, read only. Those strings are generated from the same plan table as pricing, so this paragraph cannot invent a seat count.

Pipeboard's site mentioned 25 ad account slots on its Agency plan when we fetched it on 30 Aug 2026. That is their card, not ours. Compare those pages, not a screenshot of this paragraph. See Pipeboard vs Get MCP Ads. Snap, Reddit and LinkedIn are sources they name and we do not ship. Pinterest and Search Console are live here.

When should you not use this as an agency tool?Link to this section

This is the wrong agency tool when the book is X Ads, when the book is Microsoft Advertising tools today, when every client is Meta-only and you want Meta in the token path, when you need Snap, Reddit or LinkedIn, or when you wanted an agent to tick accounts. That step is human-only. There is no X Ads.

  • The book is X Ads. We do not ship it. Use X's Ads MCP.
  • The book is Microsoft Advertising tools today. Use Microsoft's open-pilot MCP. Our OAuth exists; our tools do not.
  • Every client is Meta-only and you want Meta in the token path. Use mcp.facebook.com/ads.
  • You need Snap, Reddit or LinkedIn. This gateway does not ship them.
  • You wanted an agent to tick accounts. That step is human-only.

If the book is Google plus Meta plus TikTok plus Search Console, one hosted URL with a ticked-account allowlist is the shape this page sells. Official first-party servers stay first-party; see Official ads MCPs compared. Do not mix getmcpads.com with mcp-ads.com in a connector list. They are different products.

Get MCP Ads

Two ways to run Google Ads over MCP

  • Hosted

    Google Ads MCP Server

44 tools behind one hosted URL, 10 of them writes that describe the change before they apply it. Nothing to install, and no key to paste.

  • Open source, Apache 2.0

    Run it yourself

The same server, published as a package you can read, audit and host on your own machine. No account, and no gateway in the path.

Written by the team that ships Get MCP Ads, the hosted MCP gateway this page describes. Every count on the page is read from the tool catalogue rather than typed out, so it cannot drift from what the gateway serves.
